ECMS TO HOST SUMMER BRIDGE PROGRAM
SUMMER LEARNING AT ECMS!!
The Camden Board of Education is offering a Summer Bridge Program to students entering into the 6th and 7th grade. Participating students will gain a perceptive in Language Arts Literacy, Math, Science, and the Fine Arts.

The ECMS School Bridge Program is designed to provide an orientation for students as they transition into the Middle School culture. ECMS seeks students interested in striving for excellence. Students will be taught how to conduct themselves maturely, both inside and outside the classroom. The goal of the Summer Bridge Program is to prepare the students for a successful Middle School experience. The atmosphere of the Summer Bridge is informal, but the program is designed with the expectation that each student will be willing to work hard to enhance his/her academic profile. Early registration is encouraged. Fill out and return your application today! Breakfast and lunch will be provided!

Q. Who is eligible to attend?
A. Any Camden City student who has successfully completed grades 5-6 during the 2010-2011 school year, and will be attending East Camden Middle School in the fall 2011.

Q. When will this program take place?
A. July 6, 2011 – August 12, 2011 – Monday – Friday – 8:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M
Breakfast For All Students!
Effective this year - all students can enjoy a nutritious breakfast before school begins. Breakfast is served from 8:00 a.m to 8:25 a.m. Monday-Friday. It is a known fact that hunger prevents many students from achieving their best, which is why it’s so important that parents take advantage of the free breakfast and reduced price meals available to them. Eat Up!....and Enjoy!
Renaissance Club - Aim To Join! - With A Little Hard Work - You Can Do It!
Once again, ECMS is looking forward to inducting new members into their "Renaissance Club". The club was formed to recognize and show appreciation to students who work hard to acquire "Honor Roll" status during marking periods. To remain part of this elite club after joining, students must maintain their honor roll staus for each marking period thereafter within the school year. So Students, listen and learn so that you can become a member of this elite club.
Students Will Once Again Be Participating In Distance Learning
Distance Learning allows our students to be active participants in tours, demonstrations, and classes, globally, using Distance Learning Technology.

Each grade level has established its own learning community
